Acne - Top five causes of Acne and how to deal with them

Acne, is a skin condition caused by excessive oil secretion by the oil glands of the skin. They are a nightmare to teenagers. They bring in a lot of misery to the psychological state of an individual. Hence they should be dealt with immediately before they can do any damage.

As we know that hormones are the main reason acne are formed. The oil secreted by the oil glands together with dead skin particles and dust is responsible for acne formation. These hormones are necessary for the body and nothing can be done to control them. Dust though not directly responsible can contribute to acne formation. So it makes sense to clear the dust off the face by washing it regularly. But excessive washing may further worsen the skin by depriving it of its moisturizer. Hence washing a face thrice a day with even intervals is recommended.

Unhealthy eating habits have been associated with acne formation. Junk foods rich of fat and refined sugars causes to produce lots of insulin in the body. Insulin is the hormone that controls all other hormones including the male sex hormone that is primarily responsible for acne formation. Hence junk food should avoided and foods that contain low fat such as fresh vegetables, fruits, seafood's should be taken to maintain a proper insulin levels in the body.

Stress is also identified as a cause of acne formation. Over stress may trigger the release of adrenaline in the body which may further cause the release of other hormones responsible for acne. Hence stress should be kept under control by various means.

Acne can also be hereditary. Acne formation is an intricate process and the causes for it can be very mystifying. So instead of worrying about the causes for it time should be better spent on finding a way to get rid of them. Acne can be very miserable if not controlled. So if ever faced with the threat of acne you should act fast and aggressively to control and prevent them. All the best.
